Hi All
I'm thinking of fitting a water heater beside the sink. Can anyone recomend a make and or maybe send me a pic of where you have yours mounted.

Since I mentioned that I was thinking of getting a hot water system, The Boss has indicated that she would like a shower fitted.
Have any of you guys got one fitted and could you please pass on any advice.
Thanks Jim

Water Heater
Hi there Jim, we have a "Vaillant Geyser" water heater fitted on the wall to the left of the sink.
This unit also controls the cold water so there are no taps fitted to the work top area only a folding faucet which is mounted in the sink.
We have found this water heater to be very good and easy to use and it provides an almost instant source of hot water which is very easy to regulate.
Having said all that we are actually going to have it removed as we don't use it very often and would like to use the space that it takes up to have some shelves fitted.
We are going down to LYNDEL this weekend and will take a couple of pics so you can see where it is fitted.
Hope this helps, cheers Derek and Lyn

Hi there Jim, owing to unforeseen circumstances (the fact that it hasn't stopped raining for the last 3 days) we didn't get down to the boat this weekend and so didn't get the photos of the water heater as promised.
However we are definately going there next weekend as we have promised to help our brother in law black the bottom of his narrow boat, not quite sure how we got roped into this but we suspect it had something to do with a promise made after drinking a lot of wine. So we will get the pics taken then and will send them to you ASAP.
Cheers Derek and Lyn

Water Heater
Dulcinea has had a Calorifier fitted under the rear seat to heat water from the Engine.
The Hanging wardrobe interior wall was removed to give more space in the lou, allowing the porta potti to move into, that wardrobe space. Some Plastic White Tiles All round and a basin with an extending flexible hose/shower unit with a small shower tray, slightly cut down and separate pump to empty said tray completes the picture. You need to remove Towels Toilet roll etc and get ready to use said shower with door open, close door shower, open door to find towel.
Best have the door to deck closed as well :>)
