Well we actually got out on lyndel at the weekend. We didn't go far ,only down to Yarwell Mill and back,where we hoped to see the people that bought our old boat but they obviously had some sense and stayed at home in the warm, but it was a trip. We did 4 locks in total (isn't it strange that when you do them perfectly there are no witnesses but as soon as you make a mistake there is half a football stadium looking on!!!!!) ??? and the sun even shone for a couple of minutes.
Hopefully the weather men will get it right next time and we will be able to take off the hats, gloves and fleeces for our next trip.

So far the weather has been kind, in fact we have "been out" more now that the whole of last year (what a wash-out that was).
Some of our members are complaining of catching the bottom due to the river and canal levels dropping through lack of rain......should have bought a Nauticus eh?! ;0)
