Windows

Post by terrapin »

Hi all......like most Nauticus owners I've experience of rotting window seals and the horrible hard to remove black staining they leave behind. Someone in here, and I cant remember who suggested the rubber seal size required for the smaller galley and toilet compartment window, unfortunately, when I purchased the same I discovered upon receipt that it was different from the present rubber seal size, and after many attempts to replace the old seals I surrendered (anyone want some rubber seals with filler strip..free to good home )..so undetered, I've made enquiries with a boat window supplier to see if they can produce a window to fit with aluminum frame and glass window. Ther are at present trying to make a jig for bending the angles of the corners without deforming the aluminum frame....fingers crossed ;)..watch this space. either successful or otherwise I'll keep you informed.
The only drawback to the production of said windows is the price a figure of approx
