Hi, everyone.

We have recently purchased Riverdance from John & Kate Gunstone and completed an epic ( by our standards) 11 day, 170 mile journey from Ripon via the tidal Ouse and Trent back to our moorings at Kegworth on the River Soar.

We are now in the process of fettling her to our own particular requirements and may well be posting requests for advice with various projects

We hope to do some serious long distance cruising in Riverdance next year including a trip down the Leicester section of the Grand Union and then via the South Oxford canal and on to the Thames.

Must say that we are pretty impressed with the fuel economy of the BMC 1.5 diesel engine and the boat's general handling, being far superior to our previous cruisers and very steady in the water.
Great to have access to a website dedicated exclusively to such an iconic boat. Long may it continue.
