Anyone know the height above waterline of a 27?

I wouldn't worry about the overall height as it will be the corners that hit! As to unbolting you are only talking about 5 minutes and it is done and no worries about damaged screens.

Engine Swop

Query posted from new owners of "Nimbus" It is purely a question interest, but as the engine in the Watermotor was a basic Ford block, is there not an engine from lets say the old Fiesta or Escort diesel, that could easily be adapted for use in the Nauticus? they are still fairly cheap and...

Battery Charging

Hi Ray, Here's my 2p's worth if you are interested. BTW I have tried all of the listed options. Facts: (1) A diode will always have a 700 mV voltage drop across its terminals. (2) The nominal output voltage of a standard car alternator is 14.4 Volts. This means that your batteries will only be charg...

Transa Drive Repair

Hi Ray, No problem with Chertsey Meads, I have known Chris and Bev Sheilds personally for many years, What is important is that when you adjust the gear linkage rod, just as the dog clutch is approaching reverse gear that the reverse lock pin extends about .125" otherwise the leg will ride up i...
