Transa-Drive Stern drive
Hi Kevin, I can sympathise with your problem, I had a transadrive that continually gave problems and never did rotate properly. For your information I have a spare transom unit that I bought for my old Nauticus in good condition that works fine and rotates upwards as it should. I never got round to ...

Enfield Propellor
Hi Kevin, Thanks for the info. I have been looking on ebay for some time and had given up looking due to none of them being my size. One of the current ones might be just right but it's used and almost the price of a new one so I might wait a little longer when I get the boat out of the water to do ...

Enfield Propellor
Hi all, I have recently bought my 2nd Nauticus, this one currently named Nature Girl from Derek near Bradford on Avon. She's all natural white with BMC engine and Enfield leg as opposed to the Ford petrol and Transadrive previously owned. Anyway I intend to replace the prop this winter as the old on...

Windscreen seal
Thanks both,
I've checked out both sites and they seem to have every type of seal you could possibly want. I just need to lift the windscreen frame to check what type of groove it has, if any before I order any.
I'll let you know what the right type is and if it fixes the leak.
Best Regards
Rich C

Windscreen seal
Hi All,
I've got 'First Light', a 27 foot moored on the Soar near Kegworth that leaks rainwater under the windscreen seal even when static. I think the seal may be the incorrect one or just worn, does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
Regards
Rich

Watermotor Carburettor
Thanks Eric, The carb is a Webber but didn't look like the one in the Ford manual that I had so I eventually took it to DB Carburetters ( highly recommended ) in Nottingham. Someone had fitted the choke mechanism the wrong way round and had bodged the linkage as well. Anyway apparently it is correct...

Watermotor Carburettor
Hi all, This is Rich from First Light moored in EMEB near Kegworth. I suspect I have a problem with the the carburettor on my engine recently. The carb has recently been overhauled due an erratic running problem I have had for ages but since re-fitting it still doesn't run as it should. The carb is ...

Knocking outleg
All, Update on the knocking leg from First Light. Having removed the top cover from the outdrive I found the problem was twofold. Firstly the retaining screws on the yolk mechanism that moves the clutch from forward to reverse was loose. On mine someone had modified the original grub screws with nor...

Knocking outleg
Firstly thanks to Mick for setting up this forum and what a good opportunity to share ideas. I have had First Light for 12 months and this problem has just appeared on her. It's also a Transadrive unit and to begin with she would occassionally spring out of the water in reverse accompanied by a thum...
