I have a 27 and mine as about 6'10''

Can any one help with some advice on refitting my outdrive. I have got some rubber to make a new gasket out of but Im concerned its a bit too thick its 5 mm. Also what is the best thing to seal it with when I mount it back to my boat and what are the correct torque settings.

Hi Can anyone let me know which is the best magazine to get for the best info on canals and cruisers. Most of the ones i've looked at just seem to cover steel narrow boats with no info for cruiser uses.

Hi thanks for that its shed some light on it.
If I wind the the nut on the inside nothing happens. It was siezed up but I freed it off. I think it supposed to turn the outdrive to lift it out sideways, is that correct ? If so any ideas why

We have just bought flintlock cant read the number on the door plaque hope fully I can find it some where else. If any one can help me with any info on this boat I would be very great full.
It needs loads of work doing and need to know what engine and out drive it is.
